Trump's Colorado Protest wasn't that YUGE

Donald Trump warned the world that there would be a YUGE protest in Colorado.  The protest took place last Friday and there were fewer than 200 people in attendance. The Colorado Republican party estimates that well over 60,000 people voted in the March 1st caucuses.  That means at least 60,000 fewer people protested what happened than participated in it.

….

Trump’s false narrative, about a rigged system, has been amplified by a complicit media.  The cable networks ran with Trump’s protest threats almost non-stop for a week.  They haven’t run with the truth that not many folks showed up.  The Trump media complex, which includes The Gateway Pundit and Drudge, didn’t show the dud of a protest either.

The fact is, the people of Colorado know that their process is not rigged, nor fixed.  Tens of thousands of them showed up to vote at their precinct caucus, on March first. Just like they’ve been doing since 1912.  Trump has probably now realized that yes, Colorado did vote, on March 1, 2016

The problem is that Trump didn’t realize that these contests existed until well after they started.  His bluster now, is a tacit admission that he knows he will lose on the second ballot at the convention, and he is just trying to cause as must disruption as possible.

America deserves better.
