The U.S. reportedly offered a long-term plan to help North Korea build a tourist area in its country as part of denuclearization talks in Stockholm earlier this month.

South Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo reported Saturday that the U.S. proposed plans for developing the Kalma area, though didn’t say how the North Korean delegation responded to the proposal, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg noted that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been trying to get a resort project completed in the Wonsan-Kalma coastal area for some time.

Tourist area complete with a Trump Tower, I guess.

I was thinking the same thing, Consistent.

But really, I don’t know of too many people who would want to travel to NK on vacation. Maybe naïve people like Otto Wambier would think it’s a great idea, but I wouldn’t.

This was Trump’s idea. He’s been hinting at it all along. Just another quid pro quo.

This presidency gig has been a real money maker for him.
