Washington Times FIRES writer who everyone says confirmed National Enquirer story…
One of the side stories of the idiotic National Enquirer smear against Ted Cruz is how everyone is rushing to say that a Washington Times reporter confirmed the story. That’s because of this guy and what he said:
I have respect for the @WashTimes, so IDK why they would disassociate from me via Twitter (no email/call) for saying a scandal may be true.

Yeah he’s been fired.
Apparently they didn’t like his misrepresenting what his employment was at their site:
Drew Johnson @Drews_Views is NOT a columnist @WashTimes. (1/3)

He is a former employee who occasionally wrote for our “citizen-journalist” portal known as Communities. (2/3)

That relationship has ended as of today. (3/3)

….
So all you idiots who are rushing to say that the Washington Times “confirmed” the story are WRONG. Not only did they not, but the guy who is being misrepresented as their reporter was fired as a content provider over it.
