A firefighter used a sledgehammer to rescue a dog trapped in a wall for five days, multiple news outlets reported on Monday.
Cincinnati Fire and Rescue crews reported to a Cincinnati-area home to find the homeowner’s dog trapped between two concrete walls. The dog had fallen down a crevice inside the home.
Dramatic footage showed the rescue as a firefighter used a sledgehammer to break open the wall. It took 10 minutes to free the dog, according to NBC affiliate WRAL.
