Should the draft be reinstated and applied to women, I’ll bet the first chicks to scream when they get their draft notices will be the feminazis …

IMO, the first ones to “scream” should be every sensible red-blooded American male. An all-male military is what will WIN battles, and also, teens and young men need, deserve, and benefit from being in an all-male environment, especially boys/young men raised in fatherless homes.

Those females who insist being granted equal status with males in the military are not really women, they are silly little girls at heart. Real women RESPECT men enough to know when to leave them to themselves) in the military — navy ships and submarines, the army, the marines, etc. etc.

When females are the ranks of the military, the military then becomes like junior college for MEN and young men, and boys whom the military help turn into MEN. I am a woman, and I have had many female friends who’ve served on Navy ships, and it disgusts me when I tour a big carrier now and see these young men who NEED an all-male environment to mature, being robbed of it because of some PC vanity.

Jeb, Christie and Rubio all supported drafting women.

    Wimps.

    Amen.

Drafting women into close combat in the military is disrespectful to men, and I say that as a woman who loves and respects men.

We’re not hiring a preacher for the presidency.

    *sigh*

Same ol’ same ol. It’s all ya got.

…. After that the progressive liberal media in concert with the GOPe, the DNC and the many faux conservative blogs and forums will conspire to double down its full out assault on Cruz using the same old lies, deceit and an abundance of false accusation, it already is and has been for the enemies of our constitution anybody but Cruz, so we haven’t seen anything yet. When a principled man engages on a righteous endeavor such as the restoration of our Republic, in faith despite appearances, all things work together for good.

I like that reminder … and needed it! It has been illuminating and educational to see how many folks who call themselves “political conservatives,” are actually populist Republican loyalists.

In March of last year, Ted Cruz was publicly saying that global warming alarmists are the equivalent of “flat earthers.” As a Senator, he signed a No Climate Tax Pledge.

AS USUAL, Ted Cruz is leading the way and pretenders like Trump and Rubio are imitating after the fact.

God bless Ted Cruz with victory, and God bless America with Ted Cruz as her next U.S. President.

Excellent link, excellent article, and very heartening comments. I hope to see more comments here at Conservative Circle. Patience!

Wait a minute — I mean that Rubio will be the sole person to benefit from all of this. Trump is going to take himself down, I expect (and will have shattered trust among conservative allies), and if so, Palin will go down with him.

The only person this helps is Rubio, sadly. Then we’re back to square one. Voting “against” leftism by voting for a leftist who isn’t as bad, then complaining bitterly when we get what we vote for. I’m done with that after 30-plus years, and I think a lot of other conservatives are, too.

Cruz is the only guy on the menu worth voting for.

That’s great! It should be as bad a day for Sarah Palin. Great googly moogly, how the great have fallen all across the spectrum of “conservatives.” It’s been an eye-opener, at the least! If Trump gets more than the boot, I’ll be surprised. I fear that Rubio will be the sole benefactor.

I have to say the comments at the National Review site are heartening!

What a great link!! The comments had me laughing so hard — some really, really great ones. My favorite:

“Cruz laughs at your Donald Trump. He laughs from his mountain! That’s Cruz, strong on his mountain.”

Sure, it’s a line from Conan the Barbarian and for all I know, it was made in sarcasm (though I doubt it, as the bulk of commenters are clearly pro-Cruz), but dang, it was funny!!!

I am liking this forum, thank you!!!!!!!

Yeah … but remember the media is only the media. Most of its consumers hold it in about the same contempt as folks here. The spin makes it look like “everybody” feels this way. The truth is that most people look at it and roll their eyes. The only “everybody” presented is limited to the mindset of MSM folks, a tiny minority of real people.

They can spin it all they want — it’s to a smaller crowd than they think.

When it comes to being a divider Obama has nothing over Trump.

You got that right! I didn’t think it could get worse than McCain — then came Romney. I didn’t think it could possibly get any worse than Romney — I mean, come on!

I was wrong. Now we’ve got Trump. Good lord, if things keep going the way they are, who on earth is going to be the GOP nominee in 2020 or 2024 — Kaitlin Jenner?

Cruz will win the Texas primary. Home state boy.

But he’ll do it without me.

Fine. But you’ll vote for him in the General if he gets the nomination, right?

Because from where I’m sitting, imperfect as Cruz is, he’s still obviously the right choice compared to what else is out there. Trump is a clown, evidence is showering like ash all over his fans — and if they are mad, they will vote for him and the White House will go to a phony-brilliant (his “business prowess” is ordinary, for all his billions) reality TV self-created celebrity.

I’m always blown away when such an obvious blessing comes along, how so many turn their noses up at it.

The only staffers who should be fired over this are CARSON staffers. Control the message or lose. That’s how it works.

    That is an excellent point.

    FinFlyer #440

It’s good to be reminded that worse is coming! Darkest before dawn, as they say. I pray Cruz is voted to victory.

Long before I ever heard of Donald Trump, I have found people who constantly refer to something being “fair” or “not fair” as to how the world treats them, to be self-absorbed pills.

Life isn’t fair. It never has been, and it never will be. In fact — Nobody ever said it would be!

    “Fair” –!?!? Seriously?

What’s fair about being born into a wealthy family versus being born into a poor one? What’s not fair about being misunderstood? And what is accomplished once it’s been determined that “it wasn’t fair”?

In a court of law and in a game where score is being kept, yeah, fair is fair. Other than that, “All is fair in love and war.”

When someone whines that they weren’t treated “fairly,” it just means that they’re too little to play at love and war. Trump rhymes with so many apropos things, like “chump” and “dump.”

    I like “Choose Cruz,” myself.

    FinFlyer #334

    That’s a pretty nice endorsement.

    FinFlyer #332

And to think we sent money to Scott Brown, way back when! With our eyes wide open. Well, I guess this is a good return on the investment, actually. His endorsement of Trump can only hurt Trump except for those who yearn for their very own Republican “brand” of leftism.

In the old days — for more than 30 years, in fact — the presidential primaries had an assured outcome in that I would vote for the non-leftist Republican victor. Nowadays, the primaries only determine whether or not I’ll vote Republican or Third Party (a “win” being a plurality to weaken the certain leftist victor R or D).

Voting “against” is a myth I believed until 2008. Now, I only vote for what I am willing to own if it wins. This primary will decide for me — and I wonder how many more there are like me in America?

With all deepest respect for Jim Robinson, truly, a place that only allows expression of conservative opinion that agrees with that of Jim Robinson is of little interest to me. What made (and could make again) FR so compelling is that I could go there and not only find people who agreed with me, but people who didn’t.

I could find a full spectrum of conservative opinion. That was the value of FR.

God bless it and thanks for an excellent and enriching near 14 years.
