I still am waiting for my states primary. I’m voting for Cruz. The only thing that would stop me is if I’m six feet under by then.

We voted for Cruz here in Virginia, and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to do so. It felt good.

I’d like to tie him to a kitchen chair and make him sit there while I made a few observations on his character. He’d find out the definition of the word “disparagement.”
Anyone notice how Trump’s current wife follows along behind him as they walk? She never walks beside him, as an equal.
When she was walking down the aisle at their wedding, Trump wrote that he looked at her and thought, “I’m bored.”
I saw an interview with his present wife and she said, “‘I raise my son’ and teach him how to act.” She never mentioned Trump once while talking about her son and Trump is his father.
If the kids turned out to be decent human beings, it’s probably because Trump had little involvement with them.
I don’t like the adult sons, though. Beck just said that they look like villains from an ’80s movie, LOL.
I think it’s safe to say that Donald Trump doesn’t have a ton of respect for women. In a radio interview back in 2005 he said he wouldn’t marry a woman who expected him to change a diaper:
“There’s a lot of women out there that demand that the husband act like the wife and you know there’s a lot of husbands that listen to that. So you know, they go for it. If I had [a] different type of wife, I probably wouldn’t have a baby, ya know, ’cause that’s not my thing. I’m really, like, a great father, but certain things you do and certain things you don’t. It’s just not for me.”
In the same year he told Howard Stern:
“I won’t do anything to take care of them. I’ll supply funds and she’ll take care of the kids. It’s not like I’m gonna be walking the kids down Central Park.”
He doesn’t exactly sound like the greatest dad ever.

My horrible thought was, Trump wants to set up a family dynasty in the White House. First Trump as president, then the oldest son as president, then the oldest daughter as president, then on down the Trump line. See, that is how he is running his company, it’s him, then the oldest will get it, then the oldest daughter gets it, and so on down the line. I would bet that is what Trump is thinking.

I just joined. I reached the point that I really couldn’t tolerate the tone along with the personal attacks and vulgarity on FR anymore. I was never a prolific poster and don’t know if I will be one here, but I hope to get involved in good conversation and discussion.

We cannot have Trump president of this country. I wonder if you remember or heard what he said when he first started running. He said he would build a large ballroom onto the White House so large parties/gatherings could be held there. I see gold plated crystal chandeliers, gold painted Queen Anne furniture, and costumes to rent of fancy ball gowns and long tailed coats for men. Yes, he said he would build a ballroom.
He is a showman with no morals. Do you think he cares about one person in this country? No, he doesn’t but the populace believe he is so rich, they will share in his money. They have projected themselves to be what he is.
I guarantee you he won’t worry about having transgender men going into the ladies restroom where his wife is. He won’t worry about the common people because he has never been one. He will be King Trump.
He only wants to win the presidency and when he does, he would want to chuck it since he did it and go home to Trump Tower. When he realizes he has to be president EVERY DAY, he will not want to do it. He would rather go to his place in Florida and play golf, then fly to Trump Tower as he has lived his life for many years.

Exactly to all of this—and I particularly wish I could underline in bold black your last paragraph in which you state Trump only cares about winning the presidency, not actually having it. it’s all a game to him, a competition. The man is an inch deep, meaning extremely shallow. He has no idea how to govern nor is he interested in doing so.
Once again, the truth about Trump makes me sit here in amazement that so many people have bought into this con man’s deception that he is some kind of patriot.

I think you nailed it—delusional thinking. Jim also said that Cruz is no conservative. I believe it’s a spiritual delusion that’s been visited on some people.
I am shocked by what has happened on FR as well. Every few days I check back in over there and it is really hard to see what a echo chamber it has become. I wish I hadn’t gotten myself banned last month so that I could write an Opus directly challenging Jim Robinson’s increasingly tyrannical crackdown on Cruz supporters.

All I do is hit “quote” under the post I want to respond to. A screen pops up with the quoted post. After the last set of brackets containing the slash mark and the word quote, I hit the enter key to skip a line, and then type my reply.
Victoria, Hannity has been helping Trump out by posting delegates’ information on his website. After this is all over, I sincerely hope people will never forget these people who have turned their backs on their principles in order to support a lunatic.
