Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) told Fox News host Brett Baier that Fox News has “a particular obligation” to refute election fraud claims.
“We all have an obligation and I would say Fox News especially … has a particular obligation to make sure people know the election wasn’t stolen,” Cheney said Thursday.

“If you are mentioning Fox News, you have to know this show has said that numerous times,” Baier replied.

Cheney continued her monologue on Fox News reiterating her phrase the “Big Lie” when describing claims of the stolen election and says there is a “danger” in perpetuating it.
“If we want to be able to defeat the really bad Biden policies, we have to attract voters back to us … the voters who left us by making clear we know the election wasn’t stolen and we are going to abide by the rule of law,” Cheney said.
Cheney denied having plans to run in 2024 when asked about a prior comment in which she said she would fight another Trump presidency.
“What I think is really important is that we make sure the former president — because we know what he’s capable of, because we know what he continues to do and because we know how important it is for us to advance Republican ideals — that he never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office,” Cheney said.
