42%. I don’t get why my computer keeps auto-checking/changing a lot of what I say!

This is fantastic. Guys, looking at the numbers for Kentucky at this point, it’s killing me….if Rubio and Kasich were out, Cruz would be running away with this.
Louisiana just starting to come in. So far, it’s Trump. Ahead in Kentucky too. 🙁
Steve Deace says Cruz didn’t compete in KY because everyone thought it would be a blowout for Trump; if he’d spent time there, he might have eked out a win.
But now, it’s apparent that Trump can be beaten anywhere.
NYT says Louisiana has been called for Trump…with less than half the precincts reporting? Either the precinct count is old news or someone is jumping the gun.
Hey, 2 out of 4 isn’t bad.

Two great wins by Ted for the numbers…percentage points, and two close 2nd places. A very good night for Cruz, and it DOES show that if Rubio were to drop out, Cruz would handily beat Trump. Rubio is a spoiler. Actually, Trump is the spoiler because I still don’t see him winning in November, even if he pulls out a win for the nominee.

Silver Pines and others, CRUZ WON MORE DELEGATES TONIGHT THAN TRUMP DID. I don’t know the delegate count except that Cruz got more. We went to a funeral Mass today, then drove into Oklahoma to a casino, stayed several hours, drove back, watched returns come in, and I need to go to bed. I’ll see what the combined totals of delegates are tomorrow.

Looks like Ted Cruz is gaining on Trump.
Yessssss!!!
By the way, I heard some network talking head say that Trump was supposed to win Maine based on polls and that the Maine Governor had endorsed Trump. Well, so much for polls, pundits and endorsements. Perhaps we have some intelligent voters who don’t need a poll or an endorsement to tell them who to vote for after all.
Everyday, it seems that voters are finally beginning to understand the real Donald Trump. I think the last debate was as bad for him as it was good for Cruz.
The contrast between the two men is just so stark—how can people even need to think about it?
Sorry I haven’t been around much, friends. The campaign, homeschooling, and health issues are eating up all of my time.
I’m quite proud that my “home” counties in Kentucky : Fayette, Anderson, Mercer, and Marshall all went for Cruz. Just wish I could’ve delivered the whole state for him.

Scarlett, I hope your health issues improve, friend.
Wasn’t it a good feeling to actually cast a vote for Cruz? 🙂
I’m in WA state, so haven’t voted yet. (Except that I voted for myself to attend the next level of caucuses so that I can be a Cruz delegate to the National Convention.)
95% of my family lives in KY. I got most of them to vote for Cruz. (A few are registered Independent and couldn’t vote)
