Anthony Scaramucci was with President Trump in West Virginia for the Boy Scouts Jamboree on Monday while his wife, Deidre Scaramucci, gave birth to their son in New York City, according to a report Saturday.

The news broke just hours after Scaramucci sent out his second tweet asking that the media not to drag his family into a public scrum after it was revealed Deidre filed for a divorce. “Family does not need to be drawn into this. Soon we will learn who in the media has class and who doesn’t. No further comments on this,” he tweeted Saturday morning.

A report revealing his divorce came out on Friday, and cited Deidre’s frustration with Scaramucci’s political ambitions and support for President Trump as the motives for filing for the divorce.
The follow-up report Saturday said Deidre Scaramucci filed for a divorce on July 6, while she was nine months pregnant. It adds that there was talk about Anthony Scaramucci being there for the birth of their child, despite the divorce proceedings, but that their son’s birth came two weeks sooner than expected. An associate close to Anthony said he visited the child late Friday.
The two were married in 2014, soon after the birth of their first child, Nicholas.
