President Trump scolded North Korea for being “Bad!” after it launched a ballistic missile on Friday.
In the same tweet from Trump on Friday, he also said the launch, which the U.S. military concluded broke apart in mid-air, “disrespected” China and its “highly respected” president, Xi Jinping.
North Korea disrespected the wishes of China & its highly respected President when it launched, though unsuccessfully, a missile today. Bad!

In a pre-recorded interview that aired Friday evening on Fox News, Trump said China is putting a lot of pressure on North Korea, likely referring to its nuclear weapons program.
“I have a lot of respect and I really like president president Xi,” he said. However, Trump admitted: I don’t know that he’s going to be able to pull it off.”
