Amid the vulgar tape scandal and the various other stories coming out about Donald Trump, several news organizations are now reporting that Donald Trump is in full damage control mode, calling outlets and telling them the campaign will work past this and that he’s not quitting. The Washington Post and Wall Street Journal appear to be among the first outlets he reached out to.
Just spoke w/ TRUMP by phone… “I’d never withdraw. I’ve never withdrawn in my life,” he told @washingtonpost.

— Robert Costa (@costareports) October 8, 2016
Of course he won't. He'd rather take the entire GOP down with him https://t.co/etnWRlG39M

TRUMP defiant: Republicans "have been running for a long time. The reason they don't win is because they don't stick together."

Translation: Sessions is the only one running for office in the future so he's trying to get out ahead of this. https://t.co/vrYlaBPFOV

He doesn’t have the decency to do what is righteous. Remember, he’s the one who’s never done anything he needed to ask God for forgiveness.
Pray for righteousness to be restored and for the peace of Jerusalem

The media and establishment want me out of the race so badly – I WILL NEVER DROP OUT OF THE RACE, WILL NEVER LET MY SUPPORTERS DOWN! #MAGA
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 8, 2016
Trump has already let his supporters down many many times with his disgraceful and stupid behavior. Why stop now?
I predict there will be no debate tomorrow night. There is no way in hell the GOP can allow Trump to go out there and have Hillary poking him with a stick. And Trump can’t allow it either. He knows she will make mincemeat of him over this. He has to have an excuse not to appear. I have thought all along that after the first debate failure he wouldn’t go out there again.
Donald Trump is declaring war on his down-ballot Republican critics. https://t.co/USZ8QL5HIP

So many self-righteous hypocrites. Watch their poll numbers – and elections – go down!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 9, 2016
Per @jmartNYT reporting: Trump is still fighting the GOP primary battle. He's not uniting the party, he's destroying it.

Trump is now trying to tank the down ballot candidates. Every argument for voting for him officially moot. He's actively helping Dems now.

So debate prep is going well, then. pic.twitter.com/CV7tUoPe6k
