Cohen told Pecker that Trump had the attorney general ‘in his pocket,’ Pecker testified
Pecker says he told Cohen he was “very worried” after getting a letter from the FEC.
David Pecker said he became worried in 2018 after receiving a letter from the Federal Election Commission — and he called Michael Cohen saying so.
Cohen asked Pecker why he was worried, to which Pecker replied: “What do you mean?”
Cohen told him, “Jeff Sessions is the attorney general, and Donald Trump has him in his pocket,” Pecker testified.
