Grassley’s comments come after The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza reported parts of his Wednesday night phone call with Scaramucci on Thursday, in which he unloaded on chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Stephen Bannon.
……
Lizza said on CNN he and Scaramucci agreed the conversation was on the record.
.@RyanLizza: Scaramucci "made 100% clear to me, 'Look, I understand that conversation was not off the record.'" https://t.co/v9CCKgtuBA
