Trump slams Merck’s ‘ripoff drug prices’ after CEO resigns from manufacturing council
President Trump on Monday slammed the CEO of Merck, one of America’s largest pharmaceutical companies, after he resigned from the president’s American Manufacturing Council in protest of Trump’s response to violence in Charlottesville, Va.
“Now that Ken Frazier of Merck Pharma has resigned from President’s Manufacturing Council, he will have more time to LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!” Trump tweeted Monday.

Frazier, who is black, was one of many who criticized Trump for failing to issue a strong statement condemning the white supremacist groups involved in the rally.
