A Southwest Airlines passenger plane made an emergency landing Tuesday after an engine exploded and broke a window that partially sucked a woman out of the plane.

WACU reported that a piece of engine shrapnel flew into and broke a passenger window, creating an opening that began sucking a female passenger out of the plane. The woman had to be pulled back in by other passengers.

The Boeing 737-700 jet was carrying 143 passengers and five crew members aboard and was traveling from New York to Dallas when the plane made its emergency landing in Philadelphia.
