George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, tweeted at President Trump on Friday that the country needs a leader who understands how to faithfully execute the law.
“What everyone should want, and the country needs, is a ‘President’ capable of comprehending what it means to ‘take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,’” Conway tweeted.
Conway, who is a conservative lawyer, was responding to Trump’s tweet responding to Attorney General General Jeff Sessions’s statement that the Justice Department will not be “improperly influenced by political considerations.”
That’s “what everyone wants,” Trump said in a tweet Friday morning.

Conway also cited Article II of the Constitution, sometimes known as the Faithful Execution or Take Care Clause, that imposes a duty on the president to enforce the laws of the United States.
Trump has repeatedly criticized his attorney general this week and questioned his loyalty during an interview with Fox News.
