A lawyer for President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner is looking to hire a crisis public relations firm, The Washington Post reported Friday.

The lawyer, Abbe Lowell, has reached out to at least two firms over the past couple of weeks, according to the Post. The firms were asked not to talk about the conversations.

Lowell told the Post in a statement that he is seeking to hire a firm to help represent his high-profile clients, such as Kushner and Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), whose corruption trial came to an end last month with a hung jury.

Kushner’s media inquiries have for the most part been handled by Josh Raffel, who runs communications for the Office of American Innovation.

Lowell’s search for a crisis PR firm also comes as Kushner faces questions from investigators on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team, particularly over his interactions with former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
