Adult-film star Stormy Daniels mocked President Trump with an appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” saying it would take his resignation for her to “go away.”
Ben Stiller, portraying Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, opened the show by calling the president, played by Alec Baldwin, from a pay phone.
“Mr. Trump, it’s Michael Cohen,” he says. “God, I miss you so much.”
“What’s up, amigo? How are you holding up in prison?” Baldwin’s Trump asks.
“I’m not in prison,” Stiller’s Cohen responds.
“Oh well, give it a couple of weeks,” Baldwin’s Trump says.
Stiller’s Cohen then goes on to call Trump’s former personal physician, Harold Bornstein, played by Martin Short, and first lady Melania Trump, portrayed by Cecily Strong, on a series of “burner” phones. Kate McKinnon’s Rudy Giuliani and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, played by Scarlett Johansson and Jimmy Fallon, also get calls.
Giuliani, the newest member of Trump’s legal team, sparked controversy last week when he said Trump had reimbursed Cohen for a $130,000 hush money payment to Daniels. Giuliani said Saturday that the payment was made to protect Trump’s family, rather than his campaign for president.
After reconnecting, Baldwin’s Trump tells Stiller’s Cohen to “call up Stormy Daniels and fix this once and for all.”
