Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Saturday said a World Series win for the Houston Astros “would be great” for his home state following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
“W/ Heidi, cheering on @astros Tough loss tonight but we’ll still win. After Harvey, a World Series win would be great for TX. #HoustonStrong,” Cruz wrote on Twitter, including a photo of him and his wife, Heidi Cruz, at the Saturday night game in Houston.
