LONDON – One woman is dead and six other people are injured after a knife-wielding man attacked bystanders in Central London, according police.
The mass stabbing happened at Russell Square Wednesday evening. A female victim was treated at the scene but pronounced dead shortly after, the Metropolitan Police said.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment, their conditions are not yet known.

Police arrested a man around 10:40 p.m. after one of the officers fired his Taser. Police have not yet publicly identified him.
