First daughter Ivanka Trump or her trust made at least $12.6 million from her various business ventures since early 2016 and will make at least $1.5 million per year even as she serves in the White House, according to an ethics disclosure.

The New York Times reported Friday that the disclosure for President Trump’s elder daughter was released as her husband Jared Kushner submitted an updated financial form revealing they benefit from a business empire worth as much as $761 million.

According to the report, Trump has received more than $2.5 million in salary and severance from the Trump Organization, and millions of dollars for work at real estate companies and other sources since leaving her previous roles to join the White House.

Going forward, the Times reported, Ivanka Trump will receive a fixed payment of $1.5 million from the three real estate companies she worked for in 2016, including her family’s luxury real estate brand. She’ll continue to earn more money from her stake in Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The change in her earnings is the result of a deal made with the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) to minimize the risk of conflicts of interest for Ivanka Trump and Kushner going forward.

An ethics expert told the Times that there may be more income streams the OGE doesn’t yet know about.

“There still may be financial ties that we don’t know about,” said a former chief ethics officer of the Federal Election Commission. “These really weren’t meant to deal with a situation where somebody’s going to keep a major business interest.”
