North Korea is threatening nuclear strikes on the U.S. after President Trump on Tuesday ratcheted up his rhetoric against Pyongyang.

State-run media warned that North Korea would “turn the U.S. mainland into the theater of a nuclear war” if it got signs of a possible American attack, according to CNN.

Trump on Tuesday warned North Korea not to make “any more threats” against the U.S.

“He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before,” Trump said at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday, however, said he doesn’t believe there is “any imminent threat” from North Korea and urged Americans to remain calm.
