The House Freedom Caucus was largely responsible for pushing out former Speaker of the House John Boehner.  In addition to resigning as speaker, Boehner left congress altogether. Now, his replacement Warren Davidson has joined the group responsible for Boehner’s ouster. CNN reports:

Ohio Rep. Warren Davidson on Thursday joined the House Freedom Caucus, the group largely responsible for pushing out Boehner last year.

The Freedom Caucus, which supported Davidson’s bid in a crowded GOP field to fill Boehner’s seat earlier this month, voted earlier this week to extend an invitation to him to join the group. The caucus, which includes roughly 40 conservatives, has become an influential force in the House and has worked to urge leaders to include their priorities in the House agenda.

Davidson received the endorsement of several conservative PACs back in February. He won the special election to serve the remainder of John Boehner’s term on Tuesday.

Well, reluctantly, and after he gave them some promises….but as usual, they weren’t worth much.

Smart move getting new conservatives in congress away from the Rino’s before they have the chance to surround him offering promises of easy go along to get along philosophy of corruption backed by threats of destruction for not complying with their dictates.
