The anti-abortion activists who made undercover videos targeting Planned Parenthood have been cleared of the final charge against them.
The Associated Press reported that a Texas judge dismissed the last remaining charge against the video makers, David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, at the request of the Harris County prosecutor’s office.
The charge, tampering with a government record, was related to using a fake driver’s license to gain access to meetings with Planned Parenthood officials.
It was not immediately clear why the charge was dismissed.
