CNN has retracted a tweet reporting on the Tel Aviv terror attack and placing the word “terrorists” in scare quotes after facing public outcry on social media.
A previous – now removed – tweet appeared to call into question the Tel Aviv attack as an act of terrorism. It undoubtedly was.

Four people were killed in Tel Aviv when a pair of gunmen opened fire upon a marketplace. The shooters were captured by Israeli police and were identified as Palestinian terrorists.
