Hannity calls Mueller 'basically full of crap,' says ex-FBI head 'doesn't know the law'

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity lit into special counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday after the former FBI director said that his office did not conclude President Trump was innocent of a crime in its two-year probe into the president and his campaign.

Hours after Mueller’s public comments, Hannity said during his Wednesday night program on Fox News that Mueller doesn’t “know the law” and was “basically full of crap.”

“Number one, Mr. Mueller doesn’t know the law,” Hannity said. “He’s basically full of crap and the special counsel’s regulations they are very clear.”

“Mueller’s continued public smear of a duly elected president who has been charged with no crime is completely unethical and immoral,” he said, adding that Mueller’s comments had “nothing to do with justice” and “everything to do with politics.”

Hannity said the special counsel’s press conference “served one purpose and that was to help the Democrats, yet give them another political bone to chew on.”

“That bone has no meat. There is no underlying crime, no evidence of guilt, just more innuendo, more speculation surrounding what we now know is a total conspiracy theory,” he continued.

“The Attorney General [William] Barr, the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the nonpartisan Office of Legal Counsel [are] all crystal clear on this matter,” he said. “They all concluded the president did not obstruct justice. Not because of some Justice Department rule or guideline, or some constitutional restriction.

“They actually were very clear on this point. But because there was no crime. This is no cover-up, and, according to a statement from the DOJ, despite the special counsel’s rhetoric, there is no conflict between them about this matter.”

Robert Mueller is an attorney; Hannity is not. I would trust Mueller in matters involving the law before I would trust Hannity.

Hannity went over to the dark side when he became a Trump worshiper. He is now little more than a propaganda mouthpiece for his hero. When Trump goes down — and I still have confidence he will — Hannity will be among those whom will go down with him.
