Texarkana, Texas –
Senator Ted Cruz, a former GOP Presidential contender, was in Texarkana Wednesday.
Cruz visited Red River Army Depot.
He met with depot officials and private business leaders for an economic roundtable discussion.
Cruz is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, which oversees Red River Army Depot.
The senator says his top priority in the Senate are three critical issues jobs, freedom and security.
“We are seeing our military be weaken year after year and that is a concern that is front and center for me. I think we need leadership in Washington to rebuild the military,” explained Cruz.
