A film adaptation of Conservative Review contributor Steve Deace’s book “A Nefarious Plot” is now in development.
Deace made the announcement on his nationally syndicated radio show Monday evening. The team that made the box-office smash hit “God’s Not Dead,” will be producing the film with an eye for a 2018 release.
Deace told Conservative Review he felt “surreal” over the prospect of a film adaptation of his work, and that it was “just really cool and weird for a kid from Iowa at the same time.”
“Less than one percent of books get developed into movies, and that includes some really good books that have sold many more copies than mine did,” Deace said.
In “A Nefarious Plot,” a demon general from Hell named Lord Nefarious describes in gruesome detail why he was tasked by his master, the Devil, with destroying the United States of America, and how he accomplishes his task.
