President Donald Trump on Monday slammed the FBI for seizing records from his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen, calling it a “disgraceful situation” and a “new level of unfairness.”
“I have this witch hunt constantly going on,” the president said. “It’s an attack on our country in a true sense.”

Pffft!!! Trump has been crowing about this investigation since the beginning. And of course, — taking their cue from their king — Trump supporters are positively livid.
Seems to me there must be some reasonable belief that Cohen and Trump conspired to commit a crime. Otherwise, a warrant for privileged client files would be illegal and would not be issued or executed. There has to be probable cause.
Going to be fun watching this play out in court. In the meantime, it’s fun watching Trump and his minions panic.
