President Trump said during a new interview that media coverage of his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is “almost treasonous.”
“First of all, we came to a wonderful agreement, it’s a shame the fake news covers it the way they do,” Trump told Mike Huckabee on the former Arkansas governor’s TBN show. “It’s almost treasonous, you want to know the truth.”
He noted that North Korea had returned American hostages and agreed to return the remains of U.S. soldiers killed in the Korean War. The hostages were returned prior to the summit.
Trump also brought up North Korea’s commitment to denuclearize, in exchange for unspecified security guarantees from the U.S.
“If you listen to the mainstream media, it’s almost like I lost a negotiation,” Trump added.

Trump’s mad that the media didn’t kneel before him in worship and in awe for what was basically a PR event.
He did. And treasonous? His salute to the NK soldier and the placing of the American flag on the same level as the NK flag providing Kim with propaganda was more treasonous IMO.
