U.S. Park Police and D.C. city officials reportedly said that President Trump plans to address the nation at the Lincoln Memorial on the 4th of July.
U.S. Park Police spokesman Sgt. Eduardo Delgado told The Washington Post that the president definitely intends to speak there and that Park Police would coordinate with the White House to work on security.
“It’s still kind of an evolving event,” he said.

The Post also reported that the Trump administration plans to move the fireworks display, normally held at the National Mall, to West Potomac Park.
