Back in August I speculated that with the addition of Steve Bannon to the campaign and Roger Ailes providing some support, that it would lay the groundwork for Donald Trump to create his own television station.
Now, there is a report from the Financial Times, that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner has approached a person known for helping to finance media deals:

This shouldn’t surprise anybody. At the end of the day, Trump is all about Trump. His run for the presidency has little to do with him wanting to serve the public and almost everything to do with proving he could do it. Now, as his campaign is sinking and fast, he’s going to look for ways to capitalize on it.
