Just another day in which the President of the United States invented a conversation with a representative of a foreign power in order to goose the markets for a quick sugar buzz so he wouldn't look like a complete loser at the G7. Totally normal. https://t.co/qiFllbdfrD

I went through all this with Hillary's "UNCLAS" emails in 2015. She had quite a bit of C in there — which is just not a big deal, IRL. The examples of TS+ there were, of course, a big deal, but not the C, much of which was close to FOUO in practice.

Then: Deep State Coup! Illegal FISA warrants! Obama spied on everybody wearing a MAGA hat!
Now: Memo 2 contained six words that the FBI determined in June 2017 to be classified at the “CONFIDENTIAL” level.

To think that just 6 years ago our punditocracy was melting down over NSA having access to phone call metadata.
Tell Xi to outsource Total ChiCom Surveillance to hip tech zillionaires, it'll be totally cool and not sinister like when MSS does it. https://t.co/ufERwLmIki

Trump: I hear voices and they tell me to buy Greenland and lob nukes at hurricanes
Sane People: I am worried that the President is a loon
Media: *reports that Sane People are concerned*
Trumpers: Why are the media manufacturing this false narrative about Trump's sanity— Tom Nichols (@RadioFreeTom) August 26, 2019
Kudos to @WalshFreedom for standing up for decency and the honor of the GOP by challenging Trump for the party's nomination. He's getting beaten up by the Usual Suspects for this. Give him the applause he deserves here, peeps.

in reply to: Joe Walsh announces Republican challenge to TrumpI stand by every word in the story. He said this in at least two meetings during the first year and a bit of the presidency, and one of the conversations was memorialized. https://t.co/5qs8o1k4QS

A reporter asked Trump if he could reassure Americans he isn't trying to profit off the presidency after hinting he may host the next G7 at his Miami resort.
He replied by highlighting his location's amenities and rejected any assertion he's trying to boost his own brand. pic.twitter.com/arlxkLr77X

This has been a crazy internet thing for over a decade. FWIW, it would just make hurricanes angry — and radioactive. https://t.co/0XHcsl5yHx

How many times do I have to say "That's correct" to the people who are going to keep asking me this as though I'm going to change my mind. Weld, Joe, and Sanford have no chance. The target is 270 and that's the only target I'm tracking. https://t.co/u1OZ27x4hP
