Every day there is another attack and people dead. One suicide terrorist can kill many people who are just living their lives.
I remember when my father died, the first family member to die. Once a person dies, that’s it – you can do nothing to reverse that. It will never change, you will never see that person alive again. I recall going to town a few days after his death, and people were walking around like nothing happened. I somehow thought the world had changed but those people didn’t know it. The world went on even though he was gone.
A death causes the world to stop for those who knew that person. So many are being killed every day by terrorists – so many related people are in limbo, stopped, trying to deal with never seeing that person again. I think of those hundreds killed and the many hundreds who are in mourning. Only God can stop this by Jesus Christ returning for his own. When believers are gone, the world will truly turn into a killing field in every country on earth. How much longer do we wait until Christ returns?
No one in the world can control Trump. He is mentally unhinged and always will be. It won’t matter if he chooses New Gingrich for his Vice-President as he won’t listen to him, either. He will never listen and change his behavior as he knows no other way to be. If anyone thinks Newt can control him, he/she is absolutely wrong.
Consistent, do you remember some years ago when you didn’t think about or worry about being killed when you went somewhere? When you could fly and not worry about the plane being bombed?
These days, when you go to church, you are not safe in the church due to Islamic terrorists may enter your church and kill you. When you go to a movie, you hope you will get out alive.
Do you remember when people did not lock their cars or houses? I am 83 and remember when there was no fear of people killing you as you went about your daily life. For a number of years I worked as a school psychologist and never thought about the children not being safe. There were no school guards and anyone could come in the front door of the school and no one thought anything about it.
When I was about 20, I had a flat and two black men stopped to change my tire for me. I had no fear of these men and thanked them for fixing my tire. Today, I would lock myself in the car and use my cell phone to call for help and would not open the door for anyone except who I called.
That time of no fear is gone and will never return. Every person in this country is in danger of dying by the hand of regular criminals who have increased by millions since I was young and Islamic terrorists, both home grown and coming in from other countries.
No child in this country is safe and won’t be the rest of their lives. They will have to take precautions in order to live a life span. The world has changed since I was young and will never be safe again, ever. That is a terrible reality.
To use a Trump phrase, “Trump is a loser.” He cannot be trusted to tell the truth or do the right thing. No matter what he says, do not believe him. I would not have him in my house. He can stay in his gold penthouse and I don’t want to hear a word he ever says when he loses this election and I pray he does lose.
Trump is the lowest of the low in any category of life. He has not one whit of honor or conscience. He is the worst candidate in the history of this country. He must lose for he will destroy the country if he is elected. He will insult all the countries of the world and he has already done that in our relationship with England and every Arab ally we have. Why the voters cannot see through this man has to be because he claims to have billions of dollars. The voters are sucked into his act as they think some of his money (which I doubt he has) will come their way.
We studied Dante’s “Divine Comedy” in great literature class. Many Catholic priests were in the Inferno (hell), due to their using their office to enrich themselves. These cleric people who met with Trump have blinders on as they see “enrichment” from him.
It has been amazing to see people give up their integrity in exchange for Trump’s alleged or promised money. His income tax info. will not be released because they show the truth of his money. He is the master of lies and people believe him. I believe he is a type of Satan who can convince people he is “x”, when he is not. Every person who is in his camp projects upon him what they want to see. He is an illusion.

Also elected two Justices of the Peace. I think I have remembered all of them now.
I forgot to say we also got two Republican County Commissioners elected and one constable. Every Republican win we got was one that had never been done before.

“Politics is a dirty sport. ”What I copied above is the truth so I copied it for extra emphasis. There is one other comment I could make about the above – what if you do it for free for over ten years? That person must be nuts, however I am the one who did it.
So, we got my husband elected as the Republican County Chairman of the county in which we lived which had been a Democrat County forever since it was a county and voting started in this country.
With the entrenched Democrats, their leader was a man convicted of a federal crime and his sidekick had been convicted of a sex crime involving a young girl. This man had held this county in his hands for many years. They were furious my husband and I STARTED a Republican Party and set up to hold the first Republican Primary in the history of the country.
The Dem leader had his sidekick follow me every time I was in my car. They had a website and anything I did, anywhere I went, was posted on there. Now, my husband and I got NO money for our work to bring the Republican Party into that county. Is that crazy? Well, my husband felt God had called him to do this work to help the county, so that is why we did it.
We had monthly meetings of our party, the meeting was in a large room in a restaurant that had doors to seal it off. Of course the doors were not sound proof. These meetings were not secret and there is nothing that happened there, was said there, that was secret. HOWEVER, the Dem guy and his sidekick would send someone to the restaurant and sit just outside the doors to listen in and report back to the big Dem guy what we said.
I recall one time they reported on their website, even before our meeting ended, that we had sung a certain song, “Onward Christian Soldiers”. Can you believe that? Their “secret agent” sitting outside our meeting, reported we sang that song and they put that on their website even while our meeting was still going on.
One of their people also sat with a camera outside the restaurant and took a picture of every person who came into the restaurant to go to our meeting.
One day on their website, they reported my husband had just re-registered my car at the court house. This Dem guy owned every person in that court house and they reported to him if my husband or I were in the courthouse and what we were doing.
And, we did it all for free, taking that abuse for all those years. HOWEVER, four years after we started the Republican Party there, we had turned the county into a Republican County and had four Republicans now in county government, the county judge, the district attorney, and two counsel members and the Republican Primary (which we started), now had more people voting Republican than Democrat in that county.
Every Republican worker in any county in this country is doing a service for free or for little money just on election day if they work at a poll, and we all need to thank God for these people who work under difficult circumstance with Democrats objecting to anything they do and some Democrats are vicious against those workers.
What was the FIRST response of Trump? Well, the British pound went down in value and Trump said that would bring more people to his golf course in Scotland where he now is.
He always thinks of “self” first and money he can make off of anyone – including the United States. Right now the strip running on the TV says, “Trump compares running a country to a golf course.” He said the two are alike and no one runs a golf course like he does and no one builds like he does.
I so absolutely detest the man.

Almost every delegate to a national convention is a seasoned, many year active Republican worker. Their reward for their years of effort is to be selected to go to the national convention. These people know the organization of the national convention and how it works. They are on the rules committee (and Cruz got many of his delegates on the rules committee, more than Trump delegates). The action will be at that rules committee when they make the rules for this convention. They meet a week or so before the convention to get that done.
We have a small hope the rules delegates will understand their rules will determine the outcome of the Republican Party for years to come if they make a rule to release all delegates on the first ballot.
About the Muslim Florida killer, Omar Mateen:
I saw on TV today, a man who said he was Omar Mateen’s lover and Mateen was definitely a homosexual. If that is true, Mateen may have killed those people for a reason other than their being homosexual. His objective may have been simply to kill non-Muslim Americans and he chose that place because he knew that place since he had been there a number of times and knew the layout.Murder of anyone is murder, whether they are Christian or non-Christian, or Muslim, or homosexual or any other type of human being.
I pray the delegates at the convention consider the country and nominate someone other than Trump. That is our only hope. If Trump becomes the candidate, I will not vote for him. I do not want a mental case president becoming Commander In Chief.
I got an email a day or so ago from the Trump Campaign (don’t know how they got my name) wanting money. I sent a reply to take me off their list, I will never vote for him. The reply I sent came back as undeliverable. So, I marked his email as spam and now I won’t see his emails.
As I think about it, it may be the Texas Republican Party sent him names who have worked for the party and my name and info. would be on there. I detest Trump.
Trump is always in anything for the money. He will fleece this country for millions/maybe billions if he is president.
To all: Someone emailed me wanting to know if I was okay because I had not posted anything on this forum for several days.
A home I own but am not living in, got water in it due to the enormous rains that fell in Montgomery County, Texas. It is one of the 31 Texas counties declared disaster zones from heavy rain, high winds, trees falling, and flooding. I was dealing with that plus I got the flu in the middle of that and was sick for two weeks. I have some residual coughing and nose blowing, but am feeling almost well now. Now, have to deal with insurance company about the damage in that house.
Trump continues to be the worst candidate for president in my 83 years of life. In my opinion, he has a mental disorder and would be horrible, a disaster walking if he was president. I continue to hope he totally destructs so voters will know he is not capable of being president.
I read some Republican people think a winning ticket would be Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz. I prefer Cruz/Walker and if that came out of the national convention, we would be saved. The Republican National Convention will be a disaster from beginning to end. My only hope is the delegates man up and do not select Trump.
EVERYDAY, at Love Field, the “domestic dispute” “father’ smashed the car with big rocks and I would bet if the wife’s head had been near him, he would have smashed that, too. I haven’t heard if he lived after being shot numerous times because he kept charging toward the cop.
Life these days is different than it was one year ago and different than that another year ago and different than that a year before that. That tells us life is NEVER normal, we just say that to feel better.
We use schedules to make life sound “normal” – a calendar, a clock face, an hour hand, minute hand. We say it is normal to have lunch at noon.
We have all these “normal” indulgences, however, we don’t know what a “normal” human is because there has never been one. It is impossible for a person to be normal because every single person is one of a kind – each is normal only to itself – we have forgotten the uniqueness of each person and try to fit people into this mold or that mold.
Each person’s uniqueness is evident to God as He made it possible. God also gave intelligence to humans and St. Thomas Aquinas explains – this unique intelligence automatically moves toward good for the individual and good for all on earth. WHERE DID THIS GOOD FOR ONE AND FOR ALL GO?
In my opinion, humans became so bound up in “it” (“it” being everything on this earth they want), that they are stuck on “it”, bound to this earth by its “its”. Human good requires higher thinking and doing – buying an “it” just requires money. We have become Sodom and Gomorrah, thinking only of ourselves and bringing the country to its demise.
CC, I am watching Trump right now talk to “Faith and Freedom Event”. He is trying to use teleprompters, looking from side to side to try to read them, as his sentences are complete but it seems he does not know what they say as they are “dead” sounding, just speaking one word after another with little to no inflection, no emphasis anywhere.
Yesterday, I heard him complain about how Clinton reads from teleprompters but she is great compared to him. I just finished hearing her talk to Planned Parenthood and she is fine using those prompts.
Trump says he will defend Christian America, give parents control of schools. Going to lift up the whole country. End of speech. It was obvious someone else wrote that speech and he read it as it was written. It was boring as his delivery was flat. If he keeps using prompts with flat delivery, people will stop coming to his gatherings.
The truth of the matter is, Trump is a fake – he is a changing color lizard and you never know what color you are going to get and you can’t believe any of the colors as they are all fake.
Just watched the first film of a shooting at Dallas Love Field Airport. Maybe 9 shots fired, no further info. at this time.
EVERYDAY, and ConstitutionalConservative, “Trump told USA Today that he only withheld payment from contractors IF HE WASN’T PLEASED with their work.” The operative phrase is, “if he wasn’t pleased”. He is the only one who can decide if he “isn’t pleased”, and if he doesn’t want to pay the bill, he can say, “I am not pleased therefore I am not paying you.”
Tell you what, EVERYDAY AND CC, you come to my house in Texas and cut back the tree limbs growing over into my garden, repair a piece of wood coming off the back of the house, fix the leaking chimney, put in a ceramic floor – and if I am pleased with your work, I will pay you. Be aware, I am not going to be pleased with your work so I don’t have to pay you. When can I expect you at the house to start the work?
No company should do any work for Trump – he likely will not pay you and the smaller business you are, the more likely he won’t pay you. He can keep you in court for years until he has drained all the money you did have, on lawyers trying to get your money from him.
In my opinion, Trump is scum.
The country’s only hope is for the at large delegates to vote for Cruz on the first ballot to keep Trump from getting the number he needs, then, on the next ballot, the delegates are released and they all vote for Cruz. That would save the country – so it likely won’t happen. Too many people would have to think ahead and there aren’t that many smart enough to do it.
That system was put in place in order to give the delegates the power to prevent disaster in the choice of president/vice president. In my entire 83 years of life, this is the one time to use that safeguard to prevent Trump the maniac (that is my opinion) from becoming president.
