I was an hour late getting in. I thought it was 8:30 central time but it was eastern time.

Cruz has done very well and Trump has made his ususal nonsense talk and face screw ups. Rubio just can’t handle being president. If we had Cruz with Kasich as his vice president, things would get taken care of.

I say Kasich because I watched him balance the US budget the last time it was done and he knows how to do it. It really upset me when he left the US government because he was so fine. He is a man of knowledge and heart. People on FR make fun of Kasich and they know nothing of how fine he was for us in the US House.

About a year ago, there was a possibility we might move from Texas to Ohio to live across the street from his son. I was willing to live in Ohio with Kasich as governor. We could still move there in the future as we are getting older (by the day) and that would be family close by. I would not move to a state with a Democrat governor.

I think this debate was good for Cruz and not so much for Trump. I am waiting for Trump to say something so horrible, it sinks him.

Consistent, this reminds me of FR, after Trump announced and suddenly there were new members who pounced on Cruz supporters and they are still there doing the same thing, so it doesn’t surprise me Trump has set up so called Spanish people posting the same message over and over.

Trump’s new message of I could murder someone and my people would stay with me, tells us how his mind works. What a horrible man to have the power of the presidency behind him.

It is past time for Abbott to do this. I am from Texas and Abbott should have done this some time ago – it is late for him to wait this long. I hope it helps Cruz because he is only 8 points above Trump in Texas according to a new poll today.

Texas used to have a winner take all primary day but the Party changed the date and moved Texas up earlier several years ago and that makes the delegates proportional by district instead of winner take all.

I once wrote an article about insurance for living. Part of it went something like this:

I cannot control the world, cannot control the United States, cannot control my state of Texas, cannot control my county, but I am President for Life of my personal country consisting of my house and my back garden. I CAN control my life and protect it from whatever happens outside my personal country.

I can lock my front door and live well for over a year and still have a good standard of living. I have water, food, warmth, cooling, medical supplies, medicine, I was an EMT, a way to cook five ways, personal sanitation, battery power to run what needs to run (solar panel to recharge batteries), and self defense. I have preserved seeds and know how to grow a garden because I have done it.

I have insurance for living no matter what Trump does should he become president. At least I have that.

    Victoria #1514

I agree with both of you that the country is under a great delusion as the article sets it out and I have thought that since so few people can see what Trump is. If he wins, that adds more emphasis to my thinking that we are in the end times. I will copy that article and send it around.

“Trump has known all along that he cannot defeat Cruz based upon policy discussions or principles, so his only recourse has been to attack his character.”

I saw this from the beginning of Trump’s rants when he began to attack Cruz. During the first debates, when Cruz spoke, Trump would look at him as though he was thinking, “I wish I knew that.” Then, he had to try to take Cruz down any way he could. Trump has no truth in him; he is an empty vessel with no basic belief in anything except himself so he spews words and the next day denies what he said. HIs personal attacks on Cruz are full of lies and he does not care and no one calls him out no matter what he says.

Trump and Rubio, at the same time, started calling Cruz a liar over and over and it was disgusting to hear as none of it was true. They are despicable and I do not want either of them in government, period.

    Victoria #1481

Marco Rubio is not smart enough, talks fast and says nothing of substance. He would be pliable putty in the hands of the more liberal Republican senators and representatives. His core beliefs are questionable. He has missed more time/votes in the senate than any other senator and that was before he was running for president. He was not being true to the Florida people who sent him to the senate. That problem alone is enough to not want him to be president. Comparing Rubio to Cruz finds Rubio lacking in every area of government. Putin would roll over him. Hopefully, Cruz will prevail over Rubio and Trump.

    Victoria #1480

I saw that excange. O’Reilly always speaks over people, not letting them finish a thought/sentence. Cruz has not changed his stance on illegals; he has always said use existing law to send illegals back. Obama ignores the law because he can. First president in my lifetime who ignores laws. If, God forbid, we have Trump, I expect him to be King as he has always been his own King.

He has said his wealthy friends want to help him govern, so we can expect rule by royalty, a King and his Lords over their fiefdom of the United States. Citizens would be pleasants doing the will of the King and Lords. Do not think this is not possible as this is how Trump lives now. It is all he knows – it is his reality.

Consistent, you said: “I’m glad that the membership of the Circle is not free. Otherwise, we would have been bombarded with unwelcomed characters.”

You are correct. Nasty people post where it is free and can unload their vitriol freely as they are anonymous. When they have to put skin in the game, contribute, be identified, they are not interested. I’m certain there are people on a certain website who would love to come here and contaminate this site with Trump trash and call people here the usual nasty names as appears on another website.

It takes time to build a site and have the people find it and stay.

    Victoria #1412

To all of you, I also think God is letting the people choose what they want. The majority of the people have turned from God and they are choosing Trump. That is hard for us to understand as we see the man for what he is – a man of “nothing”. They are choosing “nothing” for their future. Lawlessness and immorality abound now and that will multiply exposentially with nothing Trump in charge.

Trump doesn’t know what he said the day before. He is for and against on absoutely everything from day to the next day. He has a Bible but doesn’t know what is in it. He doesn’t make a choice between the killer Palestinians and Israel.

Trump is repulsive in his speech and manner. He loves no one but himself. Does he love America? Only because it gives him what he wants.

As I said, I hope he finally does/says something the American people cannot abide and they stop voting for him.

Sorry, mean to type Nevada, not Arizona.

    Victoria #1409

I just got to my computer. Trump wins in the 30+ percentage. Cruz and Rubio still too close to call for 2nd, third. Just watched Jeb stopping his campaign. Trump is speaking and I switched the channel, not watching the worst thing to happen to this country if he wins the nomination.

I hope and pray he does something soon that will bring him down once and for all. Cruz will keep on with his ground game to Super Tuesday.

Trump is headed to Arizona. Suppose the others are, too. The Republican caucus there is this coming Tuesday. I expect Trump to win that due to the large number of casino workers and big time money there – people like him.

    Silver Pines, Consistent,
Some people shy away from a highly educated person. They don’t understand all the language/words of that person so they don’t engage that person.

Cruz has the equivilent of a Ph.D. and that’s what I have. I don’t mean to talk above someone’s head but it has happened. One of my very good friends (and I took care of her when she had cancer), told me one time that I was a female William Buckley because she didn’t understand anything he said, either. I tried to use simpler words with her after that.

I was in the dinner club we had in our gated community and was talking to some retired people. This was an upscale area. In the conversation, I responded to a man and he stared at me and said, “I don’t know what that means.” There was silence at the table. I said, “Oh, it just means….” The man was embarrased and I didn’t mean to do that.

Now, my Ph.D. is in counseling psychology and psychological testing. I don’t tell anyone that as sometimes people think I can read their mind. Our guy who worked the bar at that same dinner club and I were friends. One time I went to that club, and someone had told him what I did. He said to me, “I will never talk to you again.” He did think I could read his mind.

That is why I think some people would shy away from Cruz – they would be uncomfortable, not knowing what to say and afraid they wouldn’t understand what he said.

NOW, LET’S CONSIDER SILVER PINES. I have known her for a long time and I can tell you I do read her mind and know she is a mental case. I diagnosed her some time ago – she has a severe case of conservatism. She is so nuts (that is a professional term), I wished she lived close to me. I love her dearly. :o)

Silver Pines and Whirlwind, I watched that news conference and Cruz handled it in excellent fashion.

I just head on Fox, Obama isn’t going to Judge Scalia’s funeral on Saturday and his staff says he has no plans for Saturday. Obama is a piece of dirt.

    Victoria #1264

    Consistent,
Certainly Cruz wouldn’t do that but Gowdy is using it to blame Cruz for it. I would bet Trump’s people did it just like they grabbed Bush’s website and anyone going to his website instead went to Trumps.

I saw Cruz tonight take questions from people and he was brilliant. It was just him and the CNN guy and the people and was so fine. Anyone hearing that would have run to vote for Cruz right then.

Our early voting in Texas started today.

Everyday, the judge will lie in state on Friday at the Supreme Court building. The funeral is Saturday.

To Silver Pines and Everyday. Everyday,, you said: “There are 7 warning signs of an impending heart attack. One is nausea. But who knows hat “not feeling well” means in this case?”

I was a licensed EMT, and was a first responder in my subdivision, so I know the symptoms of heart attack both for men and women. We don’t have enough information to know what happened to the judge which is why there should have been an autopsy. Not a single medical person saw the judge when he was found in bed. The first time he was seen by someone who knew something about life and death, was the undertaker as that is where his body was taken.

    Victoria #1186

EVERYDAY, he saw the doctor assigned to the supreme court justices.

It has been reported the judge did not feel well after dinner at the ranch, and went to bed.

“I heard this weekend that the Justice was friendly with Justice Ginsburg, as liberal Democrat a they come. It may be that he could socialize with Democrats without being influenced by them. I haven’t seen anything in his opinions to indicate he was influenced by anyone except God and the Constitution.”

Being a friend of Ginsburg is not a problem. Being friendly to a wealthy Democrat who is a friend of Obama, who flies him to his ranch where no pilot can go unless he has a code and Ginsburg telling his security people not to come and dies with none of his people there, is a problem beyond the fact he could be beholden to the wealthy Democrat after that trip.

I just read his doctor saw him twice in two days before he went on that trip. The only problem he had when he went to his doctor, was a sore shoulder and an MRI was done on the shoulder. He presented with no other medical problem at that time. The doctor would have automatically listened to the judge’s heart so he did not find a problem then.

I also just read NO medical person saw the body. The Federal agent who went there said he didn’t see any reason for it not being a normal death and he told the justice of the peace that on the phone and the justice of the peace told the county judge that over the phone and the county judge (woman named Cinderella for goods sake), ruled it a normal death over the phone.

I heard from a trusted source yesterday that Justice Clarence Thomas has received a message that he is next.

    To Silver Pines and All:

Trump is nuts today, continuing to dump on Cruz.

I am writing the following that is off topic of this thread, because this is a current thread members may read. By the way, how do we ping a person to a thread or can we not do that?

This is about the death of Scalia. A man named John Poindexter is a Texas wealthy Democrat and a friend of Obama, pictures of the two together are on the web now. Democrat Poindexter owns the ranch where the judge died.

I know a pilot who has landed several times at the airfield on the Poindexter ranch. This airfield is not on any chart of airfields. To land there, a pilot has to know a code in order for the field to show up so the pilot can land. This pilot was given the code in order to bring people to that ranch. This pilot gave us a description of the place as he had to stay there overnight during those times. He says it is opulent in every way, the finest accommodation, finest food, finest everything.

My significant other has been invited to that ranch but didn’t go as he felt it would make him beholden to the company that invited him there – they might want business favors from him later and he didn’t want that possibility to happen.

A question is, why would a supreme court judge go to a private ranch of a wealthy Democrat? It seems to me that would make the judge beholden to that Democrat.
