Time will tell. Who knows that this whole drama wasn’t instituted to make it look like he was all we asked for, only to find it is the switch & bait candidate.

So many I know…good Christians, are still oblivious to Trump’s ways. They expect miracles from him, literally! There is a day of reckoning coming when many will be totally blown away by their own stupidity, but I wonder that they will see it coming in time to repent of it. They hold him almost in savior status. That is the worst part of it.

I guess Bannon was not a team player, thought he should have more power. I didn’t like that he got that position, so this is good news. Wish a few others would also get the boot.

We attend an SBC church. I know our pastor warned against Trump, although not by name. I still am not on board for Trump, although I pray that his presidency is good for America. It is hard to tell much about the man and his so called legacy yet. I’d certainly LOVE to see him stand against the rinos in Congress and tell them to do what they’ve promised the people, or else, and nothing short of the real deal…repeal Obamacare, cut taxes, pare back the growth of government and its intrusion into our lives, etc.

Does anyone know why Mark Steyn was fired from CRTV? This is basically Mark Levin’s production. Did he make a joke about Trump that Levin disapproved of?

I’ve quit listening to all them now. I read some things from time to time. I like Deace’s articles, but his show is not doing it for me any more. For one thing, the guy he has on for movie reviews is insane, and Deace is in over his head in the way that he is being tempered by these movies. I think he watches them all. They HAVE to have an effect on you at some time, the very reason we did not raise our kids on tv and rarely went to the movies. He is still smart and has some good commentary, don’t get me wrong, but there are a lot of things that we should be discussing and he is not taking the bait. I think he is still firmly in the GOP. his radio program was one of the best, but it is changing, for whatever reason. I have joined the new Federalist Party over at the New Americana. I cannot be part of the republican party again. I’m over it. It left me and some need to leave it soon before they are forever tainted by the GOP’s reputation. They are a party with a reputation of lying.
As for Mark Levin, as soon as Cruz dropped out, he was all in for Trump. I knew he would. We listen to Glenn Beck sometimes. We listen to some good teaching on end times on youtube. (David Nathan, Bill Randles, and Jacob Prasch, and we listen to John Haller.) I never thought I’d ever drop out of politics altogether, but I have.

One has to wonder what happened. I love Mark Steyn. A great wit and sense of humor. Maybe his humor was not appreciated by all. Waiting to see how this plays out.

He is a mixed bag. I’m glad he shows support for the troops, but he is the first president to install a copy of the Koran in the WH and call the religion a religion of peace.

And, the women are silent on this travesty. Girls have no privacy in bathrooms, are at the whim and fancy of the stupidity of the day. Honestly, any parent with a girl who doesn’t homeschool their girls are literally placing them at the mercy of the demonic state.

This was a disgusting tirade. He is no conservative, and if this is what conservativism will be going forward, we need another brand name quickly! I have never liked this guy and am offended to be lumped as a conservative with him.

I have resorted to reading headlines and first paragraphs mainly these days. It is too demoralizing, PERIOD! I don’t make much time, nor do I have a lot of time for reading the news. For peace of mind, it is better to read Scripture.

Conway has ruined her reputation, in my opinion. She has been willing to say ANYTHING in support of Trump, even criticizing Cruz, once her employer. That didn’t take long, either. She is looking more foolish every day now. I know Steve Deace says he knows her and she is a really great person, very knowledgeable, etc., but once she drank the KOOLAID, she has gone off the rails. She SHOULD know that this is unethical. Someone needs to sit her down and have a really long talk about what she is becoming, if she was such a great strategist and advisor in the past, and maybe even show her the videos of what she is saying and ask her what she’d be saying if this was a Clinton aide making these remarks.

I have not seen anything yet to convince me that Trump’s administration will be America’s saving grace. Things are getting weirder and weirder. I’m glad he got through a few of the nominees, but I’m concerned about some that got through easily. I still wish Cruz had won the nomination, to be honest, and the tactics used against him were like the usual republican tactics used against conservatives…dishonest and below the belt. I wonder if he’d ever really have a chance at winning because things are so different today, the boundaries are so loose, that people thrive on the theater of the politics instead of the rising up of a true conservative warrior. When you see what republicans said to Cruz in Indiana you can see that our country is toast. Republicans are really NO BETTER than democrats. Democrats are more honest about who they are.
Honestly, one cannot tell which way the nation will be going because in my opinion, it is still going full steam off the rails.

One thing we learned when we did humanitarian work in Russia is that the KGB never changes. It changes like a chameleon, but it is still the same animal (serpent). Trump had better be careful.
