One of our fellow Cruz supporters who has a presence on twitter told me that a large portion of Trump’s twitter followers are fake/purchased.

Slhancock and Victoria, what the author wrote really seemed to make sense to me. Anti-Christian vitriol and hatred of Ted Cruz because he’s a Godly man are prevalent among Trump supporters….there must be a reason why.

My husband told me he had to turn off Rush Limbaugh today at work; it was nothing but TrumpTrumpTrump. He said that The Combover is in Nevada, calling Cruz sick, the worst liar in the world, a baby, a nothing, gutless, etc.
Yeah. that’s right. Cruz, the man who stood on the Senate floor with a urine bag strapped to him during his lone efforts to stop Obamacare, is a baby, a nothing. The man who stood surrounded by angry, screaming GOPers and shrugged it off is gutless.
In actual reality, the gutless zero is the pathetic, lying, pampered Fifth Avenue elitist who flew to the border and refused to get out of his plane until he was assured it was safe. Donald Trump’s interest is himself….Cruz’s is the country and the welfare of the American people.

ConservativeGranny, I agree. I give Mark credit for pushing Cruz now and for telling the truth about Trump, but I don’t understand why on earth it took him so long to figure out what was apparent to the rest of us.
I haven’t watched Fox and Friends in a long time. I heard that Steve Doocy is a huge Trump fan…anyone know if that’s true?

Slhancock, I agree with everything you said. Trump says he won’t take sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. No one in his right mind could believe that’s a Godly position to take.
Lately I’ve been wondering if God is testing us by setting before us two candidates…one Godly, one profane…so that He can see which one we’ll choose. If we embrace the profane, who knows what kind of judgment will follow.
Unprecedented hatred and vitriol is being thrown at Ted Cruz from all corners. This tells me that darkness recognizes him as a child of Light, and that Ted was wise to put on the armor of God.

I am stunned every day that there are fools who actually want DONALD TRUMP instead of Ted Cruz.
And to any Freepers who might be lurking, that’s right, I said fools. Don’t give me any of that “we win, they lose” garbage, because garbage is all it is. It operates on the fallacy that Cruz and Trump are ANYWHERE NEAR similar instead of being 180 degrees apart from one another.
They are not interchangeable. One is not as good as the other.
After all this time, we finally have a solid Christian Constitutional conservative to vote for. I hear he’s the best since Reagan, but it’s my personal opinion that he might eclipse Reagan, who was a very intelligent man, but not off-the-charts brilliant like Cruz (and who is?).
If you toss this man aside for Donald Trump, you are no better than an Obamabot. No, I take it back…you’re worse. Because you know better. And you’re dooming the country we all share just so you can indulge your rage and your emotions.

For what it’s worth, The Hill said that last minute deciders were breaking for Cruz.
